Ken Brotherston - Group CEO
As Group CEO, Ken is responsible for the overall direction and strategy of GRS and leads the Board in the creation and implementation of operational activities to help achieve GRS goals. He led the management buy-out of the group in May 2008. Ken has many years of experience in senior positions within the recruitment industry; including Director of Robert Walters, European President of Korn/Ferry International - the world's largest executive search firm and, most recently, Chairman of Morgan McKinley Group. He has also held a number of non-executive positions within other businesses in the Human Capital Services sector. Ken is a regular industry commentator in both national and trade press, as well as on television and radio.
Mark Webster- Finance Director
Mark joined the GRS leadership team in April 2008 as Finance Director at a time of rapid change with responsibility to focus on further developing the UK and international businesses. A qualified Chartered Accountant, Mark previously worked as FD at the JM Group, an IT recruitment company for the Financial Services sector.
Lucinda Brown – Managing Director UK
Lucinda is responsible for growing the UK business including GRS risk. Her role also embraces other UK teams including Tax, Interim, Insurance and Legal. She has 10 years’ experience in executive search recruitment and has been with GRS since the start. She has recently been listed in Management Today's '35 women under 35' as a leading business talent and has been shortlisted by Real Business magazine as 'Business Woman of the Future. She is a regular industry commentator across both print and digital media.
Fiona Gibb– Director Legal
As Director of Legal, Fiona is responsible for the legal operation in the UK. Fiona has 8 years’ experience in executive recruitment and has been with GRS since January 2006. Previously she built her name in the legal market with the Venn Group. She is a regular media commentator and hosts thought leadership seminars.
Greg McHugh – Director of Tax
As Director of Tax, Greg is responsible for running the Tax team. He works from the UK Headquarters in Brighton but leads the Tax team globally. Prior to running GRS Tax, Greg managed the Munich office overseeing its expansion in its formative years. He has 10 years’ experience in international executive search covering Risk, Tax and Legal markets and has been with GRS since inception.
Bhupesh Darbar – Director of Asia Pacific
As Director of GRS Hong Kong, Bhupesh is responsible for the management of our Asian business including our subsidiary company in the region, Ops People. He has 10 years’ financial markets recruitment experience focusing on capital markets; including 5 years running business units in financial services recruitment firms – David Chorley and McGregor Boyall.
Adam Nicoll - Director of Marketing
Adam joined the GRS leadership team in September 2007 to bring clarity around the firm's global marketing strategy and a stronger focus on brand development and the GRS experience. Adam previously worked for KPMG as an auditor and Marketing Manager, and has had marketing and business development roles with Allen & Overy and Badenoch & Clark. Adam is currently working on ways to align company marketing activities more intuitively with company strategy and client expectations, having spent the early part of 2008 managing the internal and external communications around the management buy-out.
Stéphane Lehideux - Director GRS Paris
As Director of GRS Paris, Stéphane is responsible for the management of our French business. He has 14 years’ recruitment experience in international executive search, focusing mainly on professional services ; including 8 years running business units and french operations for specialised recruitment firms –Michael Page, SpenglerFox.
Mario Sestan - Director GRS Munich
As Director of GRS Munich, Mario is responsible for the management of our German business. He has 11 years’ recruitment experience focusing on the Finance sector; including 6 years running business units in financial services recruitment firms.
Jim Heptinstall - Director GRS New York
As Director of GRS New York, Jim is responsible for the management of our US operation. He has 9 years’ recruitment experience in international executive search, focusing mainly on risk management and compliance, Jim has been with GRS since 2005.
