Lucinda Brown promoted to UK MD GRS
Lucinda Brown has been named the new UK MD of executive search consultancy GRS. Lucinda, who will report into Group CEO Ken Brotherston, will be responsible for the output of all of GRS’s UK businesses: risk, legal, tax, insurance and interim. She will lead a workforce of 80 consultants working out of offices in London and Brighton.
Lucinda, thirty-four, founded GRS’s legal division three years ago. Under her leadership, it has built a portfolio of over 150 of the world’s top law firms. She went on to launch GRS’s French operations based out of Paris. 2008 has been a stellar year for Lucinda. In May, she was part of the team that completed a management buy-out of the company. In July, she was named as one of Management Today’s top 35 women under 35. And this month she was shortlisted in Real Business’ women of the future awards in the ‘Business Women’ category – one of only six women shortlisted for the accolade of Britain’s top female business talent in 2008.
Ken Brotherston, CEO, GRS Group said: “Lucinda has played a large part in growing GRS from a small risk recruiter based in Brighton, to a multi million pound business operating on a global scale. As she begins to play a wider role in the strategic direction of the company, the rest of the UK business will benefit from her expertise. I am delighted to have her on our management team.”
