My client is a highly respected Middle Eastern commercial and retail bank based in the UAE.  They seek a highly competent senior compliance officer to help role out a new compliance program across their wholesale, private and retail offerings.  This position is effectively a deputy head role so the individual will need to be able to manage their own time as well as others and have sufficient experience as to be able to get on with little or no supervision.

My client will consider candidates who are already performing similar roles within reputable institutions in the region as well as senior compliance officers looking to relocate to the region.  Candidates with experience of dealing with the FSA and the UK regulatory framework would be of particular interest as would experience of working in the Middle East.
