Our client is an international firm of economists with a global team of more than 600 professionals operating in over 20 offices across North and South America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

They currently have an opening for a Partner in their Transfer Pricing practice located in their Toronto office. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global firm that uses quantitative methods to apply finance and economics to advisory services, litigation, business, policy issues, and intercompany services.

Position Description:

The qualified candidate will work independently within a team environment on client advisory projects and litigation casework related to quantitative financial and economic analysis across several industries.  Including, intellectual property (IP) valuation, global transfer pricing studies for US, European and Japanese companies, cost allocation studies and  intangible asset valuation. 

 

Consultants and Senior Staff are responsible for executing projects, managing junior economists, and dealing with clients; creating quantitative analysis and performing quantitative assessments; applying knowledge of markets to solve complex business problems; preparing client memos, expert testimony as needed, and presenting results in a clear and articulate manner to clients and team members.

 

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have a CPA (a Ph.D. degree in economics, business, finance, accounting, mathematics, statistics or a related field is desirable but not essential).  They will also have a strong academic record with exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to communicate complex analyses effectively.  Prior transfer pricing experience within a public accounting firm is highly desirable.
