Interim Head of IT Risk
GRS is currently searching for an Interim Head of IT Risk for a large Financial Services company. The role will last initially for 6 months with possible extensions after that. The purpose of the role is to act as Head of IT Risk to ensure that appropriate strategy, policies and standards are in place, this will include profiling the threat landscape, identifying key risk areas, defining mitigating actions. Advising on risk project work including subjects such as loss mitigation, malware, data encryption. It will also be the Head of IT Risk’s responsibility to maintain and develop IT Risk’s profile within the organisation through workshops, education programmes etc. The successful candidate will have 4 direct reports and the team as a whole is around 30 people big with a budget c.£12m The successful candidate will have a strong background of leading IT Risk or related teams within a large financial services organisation as well as experience in the areas mentioned above.
