Lucinda Brown, who heads up both the Legal division and the Paris office for leading executive search recruitment firm, GRS Group, has made Management Today’s ’35 women under 35’. She is the only pure recruiter to have made the shortlist of Britain’s top female business talent in 2008. Lucinda, who was also pivotal in the firm’s recent £18million management buy-out has been with GRS pretty much since its inception in 2002. In little under one thousand days she has created a legal recruitment empire on which the sun never sets; with offices from London and Paris, to Hong Kong and New York. The criteria for making the list included, drive, passion, flair as well as business success. Lucinda’s team have smashed targets repeatedly under her steer, and she has also managed to launch the Group’s Paris office during the last year. Lucinda puts her team’s success, in part, down to the motivational training she encourages her leaders to deliver, (something which she learnt whilst studying psychology at university), focusing on visualising success and supporting consultants to meet targets. The legal division has built a portfolio of over 150 of the world’s top law firms in under 3 years. Ken Brotherston, CEO, GRS Group said “I am delighted to have such a talent as Lucinda as part of our management team.
